  • Rock the patio and deck areas. Typically here at, or nearby the beach, views and outdoor spaces will sell your home. Potential buyers aren’t flocking to our area to spend time indoors. Make sure these areas are pristine and inviting, with just enough accent pieces so buyers can envision themselves there.
  • Keep indoor areas cool and welcoming. For agents bringing buyers through, be sure to allow them to feel the air flow by opening windows to invite in the shore breeze, or make sure the air conditioning is running on those truly stifling days. You want buyers to spend as much time as possible in your home. Make it comfortable for them.
  • Organizer your summer plans to enable communication. Because timing is everything when it comes to selling your home, be sure to let your agent know how you can be reached in the event you may be out of town (or, the country as the case may be) so you can be aware of any time-sensitive offers that may come in. The last thing we would want is to lose a buyer because their offer sat stale for a few days and they moved on.
